rough cut 1

On my walk I found a tree that had a face on it and I found it unusual.

Cars, Milwaukee Street

I was standing at a four way stop where there was a lot of traffic. Three or four cars drove by but each has a different sound to them.

Sawing, 70th

There were workers at a house and they had a saw and were carrying a lot of wood. These are the sounds of sawing and the workers throwing the wood into a large bin.

Dog Barking, 65th Street

There was a dog wondering around in the front yard of a house. I wanted to get him to bark, so I walked up close to him and got him to bark. He didn't seem very nice so I quickly walked away before he came closer to me.

Shoveling, Garfield

There was a light snow on the ground and I was able to capture a old woman shoveling.

Wind chimes, 63rd Street

While walking I heard nothing and as soon as the wind picked up I heard a faint sound of wind chimes. I stopped and listened and it was beautiful to hear because it was so cold and ugly outside that the sound brought beauty.

Drift 1

My goal of this drift walk was to just make.  I had a broken toe and was limping around Wauwatosa the best that I could.  The way I walked was right two blocks, left one block until the end when I wanted to get home I walked a straight line.  It was very cold out so there were no birds or any sorts of animals out.  There were also very few people out but I was able to make out some noise coming from them.  The five sounds that I did get were the best that I could do on the cold wintery day.
